Day 4 - NY Road Trip
Well, this post will be mostly pictures. When you get up close with a multitude of cute, colorful farm animals, you tend to get a little snap happy....well, at least I do anyway! On Sunday, Brad and I took the kids to the Franklin County Fair in Malone. It was the last weekend of the fair, and it's been an annual tradition in the area for 168 years. I was expecting an itty bitty country fair, but it was a good size, with lots to do. They have concerts, tractor pulls, 4H competitions, loads of food, amusement rides, game booths, etc....just to name a few. After getting our tickets, Serenity and I made a beeline for the animal barns. Brad and Strider went with us into the poultry barn, but Strider only lasted 3 minutes before Brad took him out because it was too noisy for him to handle.
