Strider Cardio update - no news is good news!

Yesterday was Strider's yearly Cardiology appointment (EKG and Echocardiogram), and it marked another year of holding our breath to see what the outcome would be. Such is the heart parent life....you never fully relax. We have now been blessed with 5 years of "no news is good news". In other words, there are no changes to report. After getting our tickets, Serenity and I made a beeline for the animal barns. Brad and Strider went with us into the poultry barn, but Strider only lasted 3 minutes before Brad took him out because it was too noisy for him to handle. It was a long barn filled with clucks, quacks, honks, cocka-doodle-doos, gobbles, and lord knows what else! It was every domestic bird imaginable, along with  some mor...
